About This Section

This part of Tape Measure Panel Notes is given over entirely to custom cabinets in Austin, TX, from first specification through to what the finished work should look like.

What Guides Cannot Do

A page written in advance cannot see the property it is being read about. Any specific property can present conditions that change the answer, which is why an on-site assessment by somebody qualified always outranks anything written beforehand.

Why the Focus Is Narrow

This section does one trade in one market, and leaves the rest alone. Generic advice is easy to write and hard to act on, which is the wrong trade for a reader about to spend money.

No Paid Placement

The site is editorial rather than commercial. There is no directory to buy into and no listing fee, because there is no directory.

How the Guides Are Written

Guides concentrate on judgement calls rather than procedure. That means no filler introduction, no restating the question, and no padding a straightforward answer out to hit a length target.
